6 cups mixed greens (spinach, romaine, or spring mix)

1 crisp apple (Honeycrisp or Fuji), thinly sliced

½ cup dried cranberries

¼ cup crumbled feta or goat cheese

¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

2 tbsp red onion, thinly sliced (optional)

? Dressing:

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp honey or maple syrup

Salt & pepper to taste

Here’s a tried-and-true favorite from our table to yours — full of flavor, warmth, and love.---

? Ingredients:

1 loaf day-old bread, cubed (about 10 cups)

1 lb ground sausage

1 large onion, chopped

3 celery stalks, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tsp sage

1 tsp thyme

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

2 cups chicken broth

2 eggs, lightly beaten

4 tbsp butter, melted---

?‍? Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same pan, sauté onion, celery, and garlic in butter until tender.

4. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sausage, vegetables, and seasonings.

5. Add broth and eggs — toss until evenly moistened.
